Which Is Hotter: The Lambo or the Model?

If haven’t been keeping up with your telenovelas on Televisa, you may have missed this classic pre-owned car commercial for a gently used Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder.

Although I can’t decipher what the announcer is saying, I believe it roughly translates to:

Cowboys, how can you pass up such a deal? This ride doesn’t just have a big pair of eggs, it’s got 520 horsepower. Plus, the fiery orange paint is sure to complement your freshly sprayed-on tan, and the aerodynamics of the Spyder top are such that your toupee will not fly off into the wind, cowboys. Did I mention that paint has been freshly buffed by the ample curves of this chicka?

German Strongman vs. Lamborghini

There’s no doubt in my mind that zee German’s are some of the strongest people on the face of the planet. As evidenced by this official Guinness Book of World Records attempt, this muscle-bound Schwarzen-knockoff holds onto a Lamborghini as the driver drops the clutch and burns up some rubber.

Since my German’s not that good, I don’t know if there was a previous record he was attempting to break or just trying to merely set a new record, but one things for sure: there’s no way in hell I could do this. Props to zee German for manning up to the challenge, fast forward to the 7:30 mark if you want to catch the straight action.

Ferrari Doesn’t Want a Piece of the Sedan Market

October 3, 2008 by Ryan · Leave a Comment

If you’re interested in a 4-door sports car made by one of the worlds premiere super car builders, you’ve got a couple of options.  From Porsche comes the Panamera, Aston Martin has their Rapide, and now Lamborghini has its Estoque.  But not Ferrari.  Ferrari isn’t interested because Ferrari hasn’t forgotten its roots.  Ferrari hasn’t forgotten that it is a racing team first and that the only reason it has a small production line on the side is to help fund its R&D.  A brave statement when the car industry is in it’s biggest slump in decades, but I applaud them for maintaining their focus and not diluting their brand.  Bravo Ferrari.
